venture grant
In the fall of 2023, I applied for funding from Colorado College to do an independent project. I went to France for ten days to photograph four of Le Corbusier’s buildings and other monuments of Paris. When I came back to campus, I developed all of the film, made prints in the Darkroom, read books on Le Corbusier, and assembled everything into a book. The book was bound with a coptic stitch and Rives BFK white paper. All the prints are 8x10 on Ilford Pearl photo paper. Here is a Story Map that was created to show the school what I completed for the project.
A special thanks to Heather Oelklaus, Kate Leonard, Ruth Kolarik, the Keller Family Venture Grant, and the CC Art Department for funding and supporting this project!
